PROBLEM

The websites for 20+ pharmaceutical brands were difficult to use and disconnected from the reality of what its users — health care professionals — needed

SOLUTION

Defined a strategy, created a design system, led a platform redesign and migration, restructured the org and process, and shifted the culture to support user-centered, data-informed design

WHAT I DID

  • Defined the information architecture and content guidelines

  • Worked with product designers to build a design system

  • Led a platform migration, including high-level strategy and detailed content restructuring, revising, and quality assurance

OUTCOMES

  • Engagement: Overall site sessions increased to an all-time high, and organic search traffic surpassed paid traffic for the first time

  • Efficiency: Over two years of work and relationship-building, broke down silos, unified 20+ teams, and shortened the timeline for content production by 60%
